Article 2. Security agencies The Law on State Protection of Persons Involved in Criminal Proceedings
1. The safety of protected persons is ensured by:
1) the body making the decision on the application of security measures;
2) the body implementing security measures.
2. The implementation of security measures is entrusted to the national security, internal affairs, military administration, anti-corruption service and the Economic Investigation Service.
At the same time, certain security measures are carried out in cooperation with other authorized state bodies, local executive bodies and organizations.
The procedure for interaction of state bodies in the implementation of security measures for protected persons is determined by joint regulatory legal acts approved by the first heads of state bodies in coordination with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. If a court decides to ensure the safety of persons participating in court proceedings, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, security measures are carried out by the body conducting the pre-trial investigation or another criminal prosecution body designated by the judge, as well as institutions and bodies executing sentences, bailiffs.

This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2000 No. 72.
This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.
